Kind tips
1.Each succulent will have a corresponding label on the outer packaging. Please check the total number of products first. For missing goods or quality problems, please take photos or video records and contact us within 48 hours!
2.Please take pictures of the outer boxes and the state of the plants, and we will properly handle it according to the following compensation standards. If it exceeds 48 hours, all losses shall be borne by the buyer.
3.Leaves in wrinkled or wilted: In order to ensure the survival rate of succulents, we always dry them for delivery, so it is normal to receive wilted and become slightly smaller sizes. Please plant in wet soil, it will recover in a week or two.
4.Some succulent leaves are relatively fragile, and it is normal for the leaves to fall off. Please choose healthy leaves. Let's do leaf cuttings together! Put the leaves flat on the surface of the soil. When the temperature and humidity are suitable, the leaves will germinate. When the cuttings grow up, they will become a new succulent again!
Let’s keep a peaceful and caring mind when importing and planting succulents.
🌵Buyer's Advisory: Specialized Succulent Varieties
01. Grafted Succulents
Description: A graft combines a desired top (scion) with a different rootstock to improve vigor, growth rate, or tolerance.
Notes: The graft union is sensitive to vibration and temperature shifts during international transport. On arrival, inspect the union, brace if needed, and allow 3–5 days of rest in bright shade before watering.
02. CITES Appendix II Species
Description: Species controlled under CITES Appendix II; not immediately threatened with extinction, but trade is regulated.
Notes: Export requires a CITES Export Permit; some destinations also require an Import Permit. Nursery-grown plants still need proper documentation. Processing time varies by authority.
03. Clumping / Scattered Groups
Description: Plants that naturally produce multiple offsets (pups) and form clumps or multi-headed groups.
Notes: Clumps may separate during transit. This is normal—pot individually or regroup; allow cut points to callus in dry shade for 2–3 days before first watering.
04. Chemically Induced Variegation
Description: Temporary color change caused by environmental or chemical stress (often herbicides), not a stable genetic chimera.
Notes: High tendency to revert to green as new growth emerges. Start in bright shade; increase light gradually. Avoid heavy feeding until growth stabilizes.
05. Marginal Variegation
Description: A stable chimeral pattern along leaf edges (yellow/white/pink margins) with green centers; generally more predictable than patchy variegation.
Notes: Variegated tissue contains less chlorophyll—grow more slowly and sunburn more easily. Provide filtered light and careful acclimation.
Cactus Propagation Methods
🩹 Grafted
- Scion attached to a different rootstock to support growth or survival.
- Care on Arrival: Inspect graft union; keep in bright shade 3–5 days; water lightly after rest.
✂️ Offset or Pup
- Clonal offset taken from the base or stem.
- Buying Notice: Refers to a single offset only; the mother plant is not included.
✅ Own-Roots
- Established on its own root system; not grafted.
- Care on Arrival: Allow 2–3 days to settle in shade; resume normal watering gradually.
🌱 Seed-Grown Roots
- Raised directly from seed; typically develops a robust taproot and high genetic stability.
- Note: Longer cultivation cycle, often higher price; strong long-term vigor.
